Sun, Intel Announce Agreement

January 23, 2007 — Technology companies Sun Microsystems and Intel announced on Monday they have formed a strategic alliance centered on Intel’s endorsement of Solaris and Sun delivering a family of machines based on Intel Xeon processors.
