Airinet Wireless Broadband for $25 per Month
They say that Canada is known for having extensive broadband coverage. They even say that Canada has more broadband coverage than other developed nations. A New York City foundation recently ranked Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, as the most intelligent community in the world, and part of that ranking was based on the fact that broadband is readily accessible in Waterloo, even among the poor. But I know for a fact that wireless is still very expensive in Waterloo, and the smaller ISPs are still struggling against the large carriers.
Not so in Pueblo, Colorado, where the local ISP Airinet has blanketed nearly the entire city with an inexpensive wireless broadband network that costs only $25 per month for unlimited service. The Airinet accounts have no contracts and no late fees, no modems, no jacks, no telephone lines, no wires, and provide real broadband speed plus a 100MB e-mail account and 100MB of web hosting.
