Facebook, Foursquare Advocate Participation on Election Day

While much of the U.S. is abuzz about today’s 2010 midterm elections, Facebook and Foursquare are two social networks advocating voter participation today ahead of tonight’s results.
On Facebook, users are invited today to search for their polling place using Facebook’s Polling Place Locator.  Upon voting, users can add their very own voter badge from the News Feed, as illustrated below:
