While social networks are a great place to meet new friends and potential love interests, doing so offline can potentially place you or others you know in danger.
A Surprise, Ariz., woman was sexually assaulted in August after meeting a man, 31-year-old Angel Torbar, on MySpace. The two went on a date, and ended in her rape when they returned to Torbar’s residence to watch a movie.
