Do websites still call valid new TLDs “invalid”?
ICANN published new Universal Acceptance guidelines this week, and it reminded me of an old issue.
Some websites used to reject perfectly valid longer extensions like .photography because they only expected short TLDs such as .com or .org.
Does this still happen in 2026? Anyone seen a recent example?
