Would you accept a new domain being kept out of DNS during verification?

InternetNZ is proposing a new check for some newly registered .nz domains.

A flagged domain could stay out of DNS while the holder’s identity and details are verified. If the check passes, the draft says the hold should be removed as soon as practical — but there’s no fixed maximum time.

Would that bother you when registering a domain for a new site?
