Would you keep a .COM for a hobby site with no visitors?

If you’re hosting a personal project for free or almost nothing, the domain renewal can be one of the few bills you still pay.

Say you’ve got a blog or game project you haven’t touched for a year. Would you renew its .COM again, or move anything worth keeping to a subdomain? How long would you give it?
